I write about reproducible computational science: production-grade bioinformatics (microbiome/metagenomics), research software engineering, and occasionally team culture.
I combine 10+ years in industry engineering with 5+ years in scientific research.
What I optimize for:
- Correctness: results you can trust
- Reproducibility: others can re-run and verify
- Maintainability: pipelines that survive new cohorts and new people
- Delivery: clear scope, validation, and reliable execution
Boundaries:
- I only use public information and public datasets.
- I do not share confidential or unpublished work from any employer or collaborator.
